rAYE (Rachel Wang) is an all-around beatmaker born in Pittsburgh, PA and currently resides in Taipei, Taiwan. The Pennsylvania native created a low-gloss, mellow-atmospheric sound sufficiently reflected in her alias, rAYE, often incorporating elements of hip-hop, R&B, indie pop, and future bass. Rachel got into rock music production during her teens and also rapped, though she eventually opted to devote all her energy to beatmaking.
